ERWIN HAUER
This great austrian born sculptor, began, in the 50’s, to explore infinite continuous surfaces. From these, perforated modular structures developed that lent themselves to architectural usage. He continued to develop these patented designs along with the technology to produce them, and installed the modular, light diffusing walls in buildings throughout the United States and seven other countries. IN LACK OF GREENFINGERS?
These funny little objects are reminicents of tall rice plants swaying in the wind. The name is KUSA and they are designed by the two japanese designers Hiromi Taki and Tomonori Oohata. I think it's a genius way to get some "nature" in to your home, they don't need any care... But they will sway when you pass by.
